Day 1: Entebbe-Bwindi Forest

Our guide/driver picks you at from your hotel in Entebbe for your transfer to Entebbe International Airports to catch up with a scheduled flight to Bwindi. You can choose to go with a morning flight (Departs 0700am arriving 0845) or with the afternoon flight (Depart 1245 arriving 1355). You will enjoy the Ariel view of the beautiful changing Landscape. The flight is only for 2 hours o the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps.  On your arrival to either Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip, you will be transferred with our vehicle to you Lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Community Bandas/Gorilla Valley Lodge/Trekkers Tarven Cottages/Wagtail Eco Camp (Safe, clean budget facility) Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking

Begin the day with breakfast ready for gorilla trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the Mountain Gorillas, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.  It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way.  The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways. Day 3: Bwindi Forests – the Airstrip fly back to Entebbe airport

You have 2 flight options returning from Bwindi, you may choose to catch up a morning flight at 1055 arriving Entebbe 1155 or with the afternoon flight departing Bwindi at 1405 arriving 1505 to Entebbe. Whatever you choose our guide will be ready to transfer you to the Airstrip to catch up your return flight from Bwindi to Entebbe for your onward flight to your next destination. Information Note for Passengers Departing from Rwanda.

  • Travelers should monitor for MVD symptoms, including fever, severe headaches, muscle aches, vomiting, and diarrhea, before departing from Rwanda and seek medical advice immediately if they experience these symptoms.
  • Expect routine temperature checks using Thermo-Scan Cameras and the use of hand sanitizing stations.
  • All passengers exiting the country will be asked to answer a short symptom-screening questionnaire with RBC staff to ensure their well-being and the safety of others. Alternatively, passengers can complete a declaration form here, download the QR code, and present it upon arrival at the airport.
