This 34-square-kilometer Protected Area, formed by combining Gishwati and Mukura forests overflows with bird species, jaw-dropping landscapes (marked by forested mountains), and some of the best chimpanzee trekking experiences in seclusion. Other highlights in this Park are birding tours, forest walks, cultural encounters, and other primate tracking tours that include you to the golden monkeys and L’Hoests monkeys among others.
