Entebbe Airport & Land Borders Reopen for Tourism

Entebbe Airport & land Borders reopen for Tourism in Uganda, this is after a pronouncement made by the President Y.K Museveni on a national address. The announcement was confirmed effective October 1st 2020, tourists will be allowed to travel soon into Uganda using Entebbe International Airport and all land borders.

All visitors arriving in Uganda will be required to present a PCR COVID-19 Certificate with negative results taken within 72hrs before arrival in Uganda. We are gradually getting ready to welcome incoming travelers again. Those travelling from the neighboring countries such as Rwanda, will be allowed to use land borders of Cyanika and Gatuna to access Uganda either for their gorilla safari in Uganda or take other adventures to wildlife parks. From Kenya, travelers will find land borders open including that of Busia and Malaba giving them the opportunity to enter Uganda. BOOK NOW

No traveler will be subjected to mandatory quarantine, as long as long one presents a PCR negative COVID-19 certificate upon arrival. Unlike in Rwanda, travelers or tourists seeking to visit the country for gorilla tour in Volcanoes Rwanda, are also required to present a PCR COVID test certificate and upon arrival, a second test is done at your designated hotel. This second COVID test in Rwanda is at a fee paid in individually (USD 60.00).
