Sitting on the edge of the Great Rift Valley and boasting unique architecture, this beautiful Lodge also provides 80-kilometer views of the jaw-dropping countryside. This is also one of the few places that have managed to maintain an eco-friendly low carbon footprint by utilizing locally-sourced raw materials for construction and are being operated with 80% renewable energy like solar-powered electrical systems and hot water.

Thanks to its space pods, your ultimate stay at Aramaga Rift Valley Lodge provides a feeling of sleeping and floating in space. 5 of these pods are double rooms with an option of single-room occupancy. These feature French double beds, private bathrooms with a shower as well as a rooftop bathtub, a desk, and a wardrobe among others. The largest Pod, named “Moonshot” is so far the largest with two beds- a King-size and single bed, and is more spacious for unwinding.

Your unforgettable stay at Aramaga Rift Valley Lodge would be incomplete without the spacious restaurant that can host up to 12 to 14 guests while relishing a wide range of regional and International cuisines.  There is an opportunity of enjoying local foods specially prepared by experienced chefs and served by some of the friendliest waiters/waitresses. Meals can also be enjoyed from the observatory or the lounge while enjoying 5-million-star views.

More refreshing and unwinding is provided at the swimming pool while enjoying magnificent views of the Semuliki Wildlife Reserve in the savannah plains and sometimes the beautiful sky as well as clouds above the Lodge. However, this doesn’t happen daily because, on other days, the swimming pool and the Lodge will appear to reside above the clouds.

The fireplace areas at Aramaga Rift Valley Lodge can accommodate different group sizes- the one around the Lounge area is mainly used in the wet season (especially March, April, May, October, and November) while the one outside mainly served the observatory deck. Larger groups of up to 10 visitors are served by the more extensive fireplace close to the swimming pool which provides privacy. Being an eco-friendly Lodge, the firewood used at the fireplaces is harvested from the nearby eucalyptus forest that provides wood for commercial purposes.

While boredom isn’t an option at Aramaga Rift Valley Lodge, thanks to the breathtaking views as well as the relaxing ambiance, the Bali Swing & Tree viewpoint is another option for relaxing and enjoying selfie moments with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

A stay at Aramaga Rift Valley Lodge provides easy access to Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee tracking and other thrilling forest adventures, and Semliki National Park for some of the most thrilling nature/bush walks, game drives, and others. Established in 2020, this stupendous accommodation facility sits about 10 kilometers west of Fort Portal in western Uganda and represents an exceptional and visionary design that embraces the breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, Lake Albert, and Semliki Wildlife Reserve.
