The best time of the year to go honeymooning in Rwanda.

Rwanda is a wonderful destination across all its two significant seasons (dry and wet seasons), and the perfect time to visit largely depends on what tops your honeymoon safari. If gorilla treks, golden monkey tracking, or chimpanzee trekking on a honeymoon safari is crucial to you, then it is advisable to opt for June through September or December through February as it is drier and less likely to rain. This means forest trails will be less muddy and slippery to maneuver through during guided walks.

Even newlyweds looking forward to exploring Akagera National Park can also opt for the dry months- June to September and December to February when there are less rains. These months are preferred because animals tend to gather around the few remaining watering points thus offering incredible wildlife sighting opportunities.
