Pay for 2 Days & Get One Day Free in the Park

Pay for 2 days and get one day free in the Park explains that visitors will pay park entrance fees for two days and be given an extra day free in the National Parks. The pay for 2 days and get one day free in the Park to provide a great opportunity for visitors to visit Savannah parks, forest parks, and wildlife reserve that ends on 30th June 2022.

Uganda Wildlife Authority made the best idea in promoting incentives to support tourism recovery through pay for 2 days and get one day free in the Park as an objective of these initiatives to increase park visitation in the immediate term.BOOK NOW

The authority instituted seven immediate terms to all tourism stakeholders including pay for 2 days and get one day free in the Park as part of the effort to rebuild and recover the tourism industry in Uganda through attract both Nationals and Foreign Nationals when the international borders are open.

The fee-free day provides a great opportunity for visitors to visit either savanna or forest national park especially one of the national parks that give you an unforgettable experience. The entrance fee waiver for the fee-free day does not cover amenity or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, hiking, game drive, nature walk, and among others.

The Uganda Wildlife Authority took immediate action as a way to recover and continue to do so once COVID-19 has been controlled to minimize negative impacts and restore tourism numbers. Pay for 2 days and get one day free in the Park is among them and this opportunity is available to everyone, every day till 2021 in June.

In this new standard operating procedures released by the ministry of health in the country in general and tourism, in particular, have in place to avoid the spread of COVID-19 in the National Parks and reserved areas.

The indicators indicate that the disease is still here, thus why the authority came up with measures to all tourism activities within the protected areas shall be undertaken in a manner that ensures all guidelines of the Ministry of health, temperature screenings of tourists at all the key gates of the protected areas, hand sanitizing and social distancing will have adhered to in vehicles and boats in the parks and among others to ensure the control of the disease.

Guests are advised to feel safe while on a Uganda Safari during these unprecedented times that are soon coming to the end and urged to follow the health guidelines set.

Information Note for Passengers Departing from Rwanda.

  • Travelers should monitor for MVD symptoms, including fever, severe headaches, muscle aches, vomiting, and diarrhea, before departing from Rwanda and seek medical advice immediately if they experience these symptoms.
  • Expect routine temperature checks using Thermo-Scan Cameras and the use of hand sanitizing stations.
  • All passengers exiting the country will be asked to answer a short symptom-screening questionnaire with RBC staff to ensure their well-being and the safety of others. Alternatively, passengers can complete a declaration form here, download the QR code, and present it upon arrival at the airport.
