​World Wildlife Day 2022

World Wildlife Day is celebrated every 3rd March annually as part of an ongoing awareness campaign for both plant life and animal life conservation that we share our planet with. On this fantastic Wildlife Day, the focus on ecosystem restoration, caring for wildlife, land, and the communities living close to wildlife is of great priority. protecting the habitats of wildlife from destruction by human activities should be the most incredible work by everyone today. We should stop injuring wildlife for our personal and economic gains. Let us empower conservation programs and institutions that have come up strongly to protect wildlife today.

In Rwanda today, gorilla trekking one of the most popular tourist experience is as a result of wildlife conservation. Protecting the natural habita=t for mountain gorillas. While in Volcanoes National Park, get the time and visit the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Centre in Musanze to learn about the work done to save and treat Rwanda’s biggest primates. Today Ellen DeGenerous campus in Rwanda is towards this initiative of mountain gorilla conservation in Rwanda.

Information Note for Passengers Departing from Rwanda.

  • Travelers should monitor for MVD symptoms, including fever, severe headaches, muscle aches, vomiting, and diarrhea, before departing from Rwanda and seek medical advice immediately if they experience these symptoms.
  • Expect routine temperature checks using Thermo-Scan Cameras and the use of hand sanitizing stations.
  • All passengers exiting the country will be asked to answer a short symptom-screening questionnaire with RBC staff to ensure their well-being and the safety of others. Alternatively, passengers can complete a declaration form here, download the QR code, and present it upon arrival at the airport.
